Glycoxantine is a water-soluble compound based on Xanthines (caffeine, theophylline, theobromine)
and Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans (GAG) for cosmetic treatment of localized adiposity. Caffeine,
Theobromine and Theophylline are xanthines, generally poorly soluble in water, but present in optimal
quantities in Glycoxantine
Caffeine is present in coffee (Coffea Arabica)
Theobromine is found primarily in cocoa (Theobroma Cacao).
Theophylline is present mainly in Tea, which comes from the apical leaves of Camellia Sinensis.
Due to its lipolytic potential, xanthines are used in cosmetics as an effective help for the treatment of
adiposity and cellulitis, playing a stimulation of the mobilization of fatty acids in adipose tissue through a
Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans work in the demolition of the walls of MW hyaluronic acid and in the
decrease of inflammatory processes.
